Fulltime 37.5 hrs

You will have a basic general secondary education with the ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills to a minimum of Key Skills level 2. You will also have good communication skills and be able to work effectively on an individual basis as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Previous experience working in a health care setting is desirable, but not essential as support will be provided to develop knowledge, skills and understanding to ensure the delivery of a first class service to our patients.

Working under the supervision of a registered health care practitioner, you will undertake a range of duties supporting the Registered Nurses in the smooth running of 5B.

Ward 5B is a 25 bedded vascular unit . The Ward delivers care to all ages of adult patients and that encompasses emergency and elective admissions as well as level one care, we are also currently developing our amputee pathway to ensure they receive the gold standard of care. 5B is a busy ward with a fast pace so every day is varied and there are plenty of training opportunities .
