Overview of the role

As our Home Delivery Service Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks supporting our driving colleagues and their line managers. You will form part of a team of people equipped to identify and solve problems within Home Delivery Service department. You will need to be a good communicator, working efficiently and confidently to meet time sensitive deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manning the Support Desk on a rota basis, using Red Centric operating system, raising tickets to the relevant Line Manager/function/Senior Manager.
  • Scheduling service coverage to ensure that we have the right colleagues in the right place at the right time, working in collaboration with the line managers to identify gaps, recruitment needs and support the budget control to ensure we are operating an efficient service.
  • Booking agency drivers and the respective communications across all functions within the wider operation
  • Updating the HRe (personal) system to reflect weekly ‘worked’ hours to ensure payroll accuracy and processes in line with business deadlines.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • High level of knowledge with systems such as Teams & Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred experience in payroll processing, invoicing and/or similar admin role
  • Great customer service manner, able to articulate and communicate effectively via telephone.
  • Preferred experience in scheduling and operating similar applications.
  • Experience in communicating with various stakeholders across the business.
  • Good level of written and verbal English
