The Longboat Cafe is a great place to work. We are a small, friendly, beach side cafe, open 12 months of the year with a focus on simply prepared foods and great customer service. We are looking for part-time or full-time assistants to help with the day-to-day operations of the cafe and with cooking and preparing food.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic, who loves to interact with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter or exit the cafe
- Preparing hot beverages, serving cakes, cold drinks and ice cream and cleanup
- Receive and process orders from customers while paying attention to details
- Receive deliveries from suppliers
- Keep the cafe clean and tidy at all times
- Stock inventory as needed
- Assist with opening or closing shifts as needed
Skills:
Experience working in a busy restaurant or cafe is preferred but not required. We will train the right person!
- Must be friendly and have excellent customer service skills
Job Type: Part-time or Full Time with availability to work at least one day a week at most weekends.

Part-time hours: 16 - 35 per week
Salary: £7.59-£10.42 per hour
