About the role

This Teaching Assistant role is based at a lovely Primary School in the Sunderland area. This is a part-time role, of which the successful candidate will be expected to work mornings only, 5 days per week, Monday-Friday, the hours will be 8.30 – 12.30. This will be a 20 hour per week role. This role is based in the schools Year 1 class and the candidate must have previous experience of supporting within Key Stage 1, ideally the candidate will have experience of working one to one with children with SEND. This role will be a one to one teaching assistant position and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a pupil with ASC. This is a lovely school to work in.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teaching Assistant you will:

  • - An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • - Teaching Assistant or equivalent (Level 1 plus ideally)
  • - Experience of supporting a pupil with SEND, specifically ASC

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Salary is dependant on safeguarding clearance, references, dbs and additional training.
