We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team in our Pizzeria in the heart of Sale. The role is to ensure the overall kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and meet the required hygiene standards.
Duties to include:
Sweep and Mop Restaurant prior to opening
Sweep and Mop toilets prior to opening
Replenish toilet areas and cleaned to standards prior to opening
Operating the dishwasher to clean crockery and utensils
Ensuring that all clean items are placed neatly in the appropriate areas and taking care to minimize breakages.
Adhere to the kitchen standards of Health and Hygiene and ensure the cleaning schedules are adhered to, signed and recorded in line with the food safety policy.
Ensure that all spillages and breakages are cleaned up immediately to prevent accidents.
Ensure the dishwasher and dishwash area is thoroughly clean at the end of each service.
Assist with incoming stock deliveries where necessary.
Empty bins and assist with recycling.
This is a part time, permanent position which requires working a combination of day times, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
