Pizza Van Supervisor (Full Time), £27,500 per year
Tiverton:
We have a job available to run one of our woodfired pizza vans for us. You will be in charge of several staff members, and duties will include cooking pizzas, managing the fire, serving customers, making dough, loading/unloading, and driving the pizza van.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 2-10pm PLUS 12 Saturdays per year for wedding work (42 hours per week pro rata). Sundays and remaining Saturdays off. We would consider part-time or a job share – it’s always worth contacting us for a chat.
30 days of paid holiday, with 25 of those dates dictated by the business.
Timescale: starting around 1st October 2023.
Location: Halberton, Tiverton
Salary: £27,500 per year plus holiday and pension.
Requirements:
No catering or chef experience is needed as we will happily provide training.
You need to be practical, reasonably fit and strong, as there is a fair bit of physical work involved. You need to be reliable and hardworking as it’s not an easy job.
We need you to have a full, clean, UK driving licence. Experience driving a van or large vehicle is an advantage.
You need to be calm under pressure as we get very busy. Attention to detail is important too, so you can manage the status of orders etc.
Being friendly and chatty is a must, both with our customers and your colleagues.
You should be a tidy person with a good sense of cleanliness, to maintain our excellent hygiene standards.
