Edwards And Ward are currently recruiting for a General Catering Assistant for a Primary school in Guildford starting on 4th September 2023.
16.25 Hours per week.
10.15 am to 1.45pm Monday to Friday term time only
Previous catering experience is not essential but ability to learn, be flexible and be part of a great team working in a kitchen environment.

The main areas of the role are:-
- Prepare food and set up counters to the standard laid down by the management.
- Serve all food and beverages at the specified times and in appropriate quantities.
- Ensure sound knowledge of the food to be served daily, together with the appropriate portion sizes.
- To comply with the daily cleaning schedule.
- To assist with all aspects of food preparation.
- Maintain Health & Safety and Hygiene standards following the current legislation and company and site policy and procedure
- Ensure that personal appearance and personal hygiene & basic food hygiene, including uniform and footwear in line with Edwards and Ward Company Policy.
- To adhere to Client and Company policy and guidelines with regard child safeguarding.
A DBS will be required for this position which will be paid for by Edwards and Ward.
