SVS Frame Tech now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator / Supervisor to join our team in our Aluminium department factory based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
THE ROLE
We’re currently looking for a Production Fabricator/ Supervisor to lead our team of fabricators at our aluminium factory. You’ll be reporting to the operations Manager on all production activities whilst supervising the production team to ensure that quality and productivity are consistently achieved.
You’ll be required to support your production team with technical experience and help your team with technical queries and problem solving. Previous experience of fabricating aluminium windows and doors is essential and previous experience of supervising or managing a factory environment is essential.
You must be capable of working to the highest of standards and you must be able to manage your own workload whilst supervising the production team and possess a positive proactive approach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full accountability for the production team; ensuring safety and performance targets are achieved.
- Fabricating and assembling high-quality aluminium windows and doors.
- Operating machinery and hand tools.
- Ensure all operators are maintaining output levels in line with targets and recording all major events e.g. downtime.
- Maintain high standards adhering to Health and Safety procedures.
- Experience of prioritizing individual/team workloads.
QUALITY & PRODUCTION
- Quality inspection of completed products prior to product moving to dispatch.
- Developing and Maintaining Quality Control processes and procedures.
- Ability to problem solve
- Have a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Be Enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking and must ensure the production team follow standard operation procedures.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm
Salary: Up to £33,500 per year, depending on experience
