In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
Due to an increase in workload, we are now recruiting for two permanent Warehouse Operators to join us on a permanent basis. Based in Newport, these roles are open now with a view to recruit for as soon as possible.
As Warehouse Operator, you will be working as part of the Logistics team with the objective to complete all operational tasks related to the receipt, storage, picking, packing and delivery of items and kits to internal and external customers. In addition, the role holder will support daily activities to ensure Logistical and Inventory targets are met and support improvement activities in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties include;
- Work to the processes and procedures to ensure high quality of work for the assigned process area, eg. Goods In, Kitting, Dispatch
- Generate and pick orders from multiple sites and locations for internal and external customers
- Ensure all orders are picked, packaged, and labelled correctly for customers
- Loading and unloading of deliveries and transport product using forklift and other machinery
- Understand and adhere to product preservation standards to ensure parts are stored and handled safely
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered
- Establish and maintain a clean professional working environment.
